As early as 1991, Joan was a passionate motorcyclist and loved the feeling of freedom he felt when driving his motorcycle through the streets of Igualada. During his tours, he noticed that his army neck warmer was very comfortable, but was not able to withstand the cold wind.

Finally came the day when Joan decided to create exactly what he needed. He worked every day in his family's textile factory in Igualada, drawing drafts, making plans, and trying to develop the product he needed. One day the time had come: he made a seamless tubular garment made of microfiber.
