Born and raised in Venezuela, Carolina Herrera was early exposed to international culture and fashion. She puts it elegantly: "My eye was used to seeing beautiful things."

In 1988 Carolina Herrera launched her first fragrance and in 1991 she launched her first men's fragrance, Carolina Herrera for Men.
