Maria-Pia Selva, a Frenchwoman with Honduran roots, founded Flor de Selva in 1994 in close collaboration with Nestor Plasencia, the owner of one of the best-known Central American cigar manufacturers. Characteristic of the Flor de Selva cigars are the soils and the climatic conditions of the Jamastran Valley. A protected tobacco growing area that gives the tobacco leaves a full-bodied aroma. Flor de Selva cigars are first-class processed and convince the taste with a range of aromas of wood and fruits. The insert of the cigar is rolled with tobacco from Honduras, the binder comes from tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua. The cover page that gives the cigar the finishing touch is a Connecticut Shade.
