The Highland Park distillery is located on the Orkney Islands off the northernmost tip of Scotland. Both their whiskeys and their home on the island are characterized by the wild climate, the stormy sea and the Vikings, who settled here over 1,000 years ago and left their mark on people and culture. Magnus Eunson, founder of Highland Park, was a direct descendant of the Vikings.
There are a variety of bottlings from the distillery. Typical for Highland Park is the slightly sweet taste with notes of heather, peat, sea air and honey.
