L & M is an American brand of cigarettes currently owned and manufactured by Altria (formerly known as Philip Morris Companies, Inc.). The name comes from the tobacco company founded in 1873 Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company, the predecessor of today's Liggett Group, was originally produced in the L & M.
