Milan-born art director and photographer Francesco Ragazzi founded Palm Angels in 2011 as a photographic documentation of LA skater culture. This evolved into a book published by Rizzoli in 2014, and then into clothing in 2015. Palm Angels is an Italian look at American culture and subcultures. She combines an appreciation for fashion codes and the joy of fabrics with a preference for using clothing as a source of identity and cultural symbols. Palm Angels is essentially a vision backed by a real human being.
