The Roner distillery, which was founded by Gottried Roner in 1946, enriches the traditional phases of distillation with valuable ingredients such as a love of perfection and the experience of three generations.
The preparation of the mash or the puree is preceded by thorough quality controls of the grapes and fruit. Only the best quality can be used for the distillates and grappa. The region of South Tyrol and its location in a typical wine-growing zone offers Roner many advantages: you can follow the course of the ripening of the grapes up close and get the fresh, juicy pomace from the surrounding wineries. The scents and aromas are very sensitive and only the fresh pomace and fruit guarantee the full-bodied nature of the grappa and distillates. For this reason, Roner always process the pomace immediately and rigorously separate them.
