In Escholzmatt in the canton of Lucerne, the Studer distillery has been producing the finest liqueurs and fine distillates since 1883. Käthi and Ivano Friedli-Studer are the fourth generation to run the distillery and have established the Studer brand in the premium segment. The vodka is made from rye and is available in the mountain bottle designed by Käthi Friedli-Studer. The noble specialty is the glass Matterhorn inside the bottle and the gold glitter that hovers in the vodka. Käthi Friedli-Studer is responsible for the entire imaginative design of the high-quality bottles, labels and decorative packaging. The Studer distillery won several international design awards in this area.
