James Fleming founded the Aberlour Distillery in Charlestown of Aberlour, Speyside (Scotland) in 1879. , All single malts are made from the best local ingredients from barley and soft water from the nearby Ben Rinnes mountain. The skilfully crafted New Spirit usually ages in the best hand-picked Oloroso Sherry Butts and American oak barrels for at least 12 years. It is this double barrel maturation that subtly brings together the properties of each barrel to create a really rich and worthwhile complex range of single malts.
