Nardini - explore the oldest grappa distillery in Italy in our ZEGG stores in Samnaun.
Nardini is the story of Italy's oldest distillery, founded in 1779 by Bortolo Nardini on Ponte Vecchio, the iconic bridge that leads to the city of Bassano del Grappa.
The Nardini grappa is distilled from selected grape marc. Bortolo Nardini is a distilleria a vapore, a distillery that uses the steam process. The distillation takes place either in vacuum boilers or in columns, depending on where the pomace is converted to grappa. You have always received innovations and changes from Nardini with open arms. Thus, in 1860, the newly emerging technology of steam distillation and, about a century later, barrel aging and vacuum distillation were introduced.
