In Waterloo in the Canadian province of Ontario a distillery was founded in 1857, in 1869 Joseph E. Seagram participated as a partner. Seagram took over the company in 1883 and renamed it Joseph E. Seagram & Sons.
The Seagrams VO was developed in 1912 as a wedding gift by Joesph E. Seagram for his son. This Canadian whiskey is sweet and a little spicy on the palate, balanced and full-bodied with aromas of exotic fruits, vanilla and various spices. Its finish is spicy and slightly dry.
